Holidays Buzz
Wow! Have I been busy for the Holidays. I taught a Christmas Card 101 class at the local Library. Had 2 more then I was prepared for but we split the difference and everyone made 1 card instead of 2. We had a great time.
I've been pushing myself out side of my box and have made a few Holiday items that I'm pretty proud to show you.
Number One!
Another Consultant had made this. When I saw this little guy I just had to try. Rudy is made with the Cricut Artiste Cartridge and Close To My Heart paper which can only be bought through me.
I made this tree ornament using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge as well. It was a little time consuming but putting it together while I was watching TV wasn't so bad.
These little guys were so much fun to make and EASY. I bought some battery run tea lites. Colored the lites with my CTMH Orange marker. I cut the circles using my Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. Sooo much easier than cutting then one by one! I used my CTMH Black marker to color in the smile, eyes, and buttons. I drew and hand cut the hats. I used embroidery floss around the hat and ribbon for a scarf. The arms were also from Art Philosophy and the heart....well, I happen to have a punch hanging around that I've had for years and it finally became useful.
My next project will be making name tags for Christmas gifts. It's amazing what you can accomplish when the mood hits and the time is right.
Get your creative mojo going and show me what you've made for the holidays!
